Disney World: Day 3

We went to Chef Mickey's for a yummy buffet breakfast. This is very similar to Goofy's Kitchen at Disneyland. It was so yummy and one of my favorite character meals because we got to meet and take pictures with Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and Donald! This restaurant is at the Contemporary Hotel that is right next to Magic Kingdom. It was pouring rain while we were eating and lightened up a little bit by the time we were done, but when we got to the park it was still raining. It was a damp morning, but that didn't stop us from having so much fun!!!

Ashli had made reservations for Wyatt and Beckett at Pirates League. They turn you into a pirate with makeup, bandana or a hat and you have to take the pirates oath. It is really cute. So while we were waiting for the boys to do that we took my Mom, Dad and Kelly on It's a Small World. My Dad loves this ride and as you can see below, it is one of CJ's favorites also!

Both of the boys decided that they wanted to be Jake from the Disney Channel show Jake and the Neverland Pirates. It didn't take long to get their eyebrows triple in size and put the wig on them. They got to get their picture taken with Pirate Goofy after they were done. Below is little Beckett. Quite often he had this scowl on his face and it was hilarious with his wig and big eyebrows!

The park is set up quite differently then Disneyland. It is way more spread out and it is even decorated differently. The outside of the buildings for some of the rides looked way different too. It threw me off a little bit because I know exactly where everything is in Disneyland, but I had no idea here!  Below is Thunder Mountain behind us.

While we were waiting for people to take a potty break, a lady came up to us and asked if we would like to do a special preview of Belle's home and a surprise for Belle! We were so excited because this is part of the new Fantasyland that they are building that isn't open to the public yet! They will have a new restaurant, Be Our Guest. They will have Prince Eric's Castle with a ride. They will have Snow White's cottage and a ride.

We were so excited to get chosen and I know it had to do with our awesome matching shirts! We went to a special door where a lady let us in. Below is Belle's home. It was decorated so cute. We had to wait in a short line which took us through the house. From the home you could see the Beast's Castle in the background.

Then we went into a big room where a group of us gathered to talk to the Wardrobe. She was very funny. She told us that we would be putting on a surprise for Belle. The guy there picked out people to help tell the story of Belle which was the surprise. Tim got picked to be a guard, Wyatt got picked to be Chip and Kelly got picked to be the wardrobe. It was definitely because of the opera she sang out loud when the guy was looking for someone. There was the Beast, Mrs. Potts, Maurice, and Filipe.

The guy had everyone practice their parts over and over again. Tim had to march in place, Wyatt had to hop and Kelly had to do her opera singing. We laughed so hard because they must have needed more time for the group ahead of us to finish because the guy had them do their parts at least twenty times. Kelly was getting very tired of doing her big solo.

Once they were ready, we went into the library and we all sat down on the benches while those chosen to participate stood up front. Lumiere was on the fireplace and told us what we would do when Belle walked in. She was so surprised... it was really cute. At the end of the show, everyone who was a character got their picture taken with Belle. I was so glad that we were able to do this. It was one of my favorite things from the trip.

Prince Eric's Castle

CJ was so good about taking the kids on rides. They would get ancy that we weren't going on a ride that they could go on so CJ would take them on rides. They loved it!

My poor Mom and Dad were so exhausted and this was only our second full day at a park!

Our dinner reservation for tonight was at the Ohana Hotel. It was located across the big lake from Magic Kingdom. So here we are waiting for the boat to take us across.

While we were waiting, this cute bunny came hopping by. There are little critters everywhere at Disney World! They were so fun to watch.

This is the Grand Floridian Hotel, we went there for breakfast one day (pictures to come). It was so nice. I really want to stay there one day.

The Ohana restaurant was like Rodizio's grill. They first brought out bread, which was so good. It was sweet tasting so a little different, and chicken wings. Then they would bring around shrimp, pork, steak and chicken around. It was the best meal that we had all week. There were others that were a very close second, but this was a fun place. And of course you could eat as much as you wanted! They did a show with the kids. They had them all line up ad march around in a circle. They had Hawaiian music playing. It was a fun atmosphere. We were all so stuffed afterwords that we were ill. And we still had to eat dessert!
Meal $70.00 - paid $12.00

This picture is of the middle of the hotel. This would be a really fun one to stay at too!

I think the Disney Parks are decorated so cute for the holidays. They do such a good job.
After dinner we went back to Magic Kingdom to play and watch the firework show. One of my favorite things is the fireworks shows that they do! It didn't disappoint!

The park was open until midnight for those who stayed on the Disney Property. When the magic hours started, we had to show them our room keys to get on the rides. It was nice because we basically walked on all the rides. Needless to say, we were very tired by the time we got back to the hotel. Thankfully, the next day was Monday. It was our only day to sleep in!
