Christmas Break

Hopefully everyone had a Merry Christmas. We had a fun time and it has been good to be back with family. The picture below is my favorite Christmas present. Side story, I was able to convince my little nephew Jacob to become a UTE fan (Johnson's are BYU fans) The only thing he asked for Christmas was Utah stuff. Here is a picture of us showing who is number 1.
Jackie opening Christmas presents at my Mom's. We got picnic gear along with a first aid kit. We also got a CD with all of the church songs like I'm a Mormon, and Got a Dime in my Pocket. Sure brings back memories.

We had Christmas Eve dinner at my Mom's and it was nice. It's fun being around Cayman and Cohen. They are so cute.

We got back to Jackie's house in time to sing some Christmas songs and play the chimes.
Today we were able to spend some time with Spenny, Nellie, and Logan. It is so much fun to just sit and talk with them. We miss them and California a lot, especially after these big snow storms.
If anyone wants to see. Here are pictures of our carpet and flooring for the house we are going to build. Hopefully they will start in the next few weeks.
This is a picture of our cabinets and counter tops.

Happy Birthday Honey Bun!!!

Happy Birthday to my Beautiful Wife!!!! What a joy it has been to be married to you these past few years. I don't know what I would do without you. We have had so many fun times together and look forward to having many more fun times. I hope you have a wonderful birthday and just want to know how much I LOVE YOU.Here are a few pictures from the last few years. This is us in Hawaii, what a wonderful time we had there and hopefully one day we will get back there.

While I was coaching a young adult basketball team in California, they said to me at practice one day, C.J. how did you get such a hot wife? I said I wonder the same thing every day.

Another thing I love about Jackie is how much she has LOVED becoming a UTE Fan and putting up with my favorite team. We've had so much good food and good times while watching games!!!

One of our favorite pictures of us being in California on the beach for our first winter. I love you for allowing me to take you away from family to go to California and have that amazing experience we had there. I think our Love for each other grew so much and we learned so much more about each other by being on our own. I think we will always look back on that time and remember it as probably the best time of our life's. Anyway love ya tons!!!
P.S. and no matter what you say, those Hale Theater Season tickets are your Birthday Present :)

BIG NEWS!!

I think we have finally decided what to do on the housing front. Down below is a picture of us where we are going to build our house. We are pretty excited. We put money down on it, but we have 21 days to change our minds. I don't think we will though. Next week we will pick out the brick, paint color, cabinets, carpet, etc..... Hopefully everything works out!!!
Here I am supervising Terry while he puts up the Christmas lights. I sure was helpful......Jackie went to Disney on Ice with Holly, Kimmy, and Hannah. She had a great time and this is the only picture she took of the group.

Picture of the show, it was something about Disney celebrating their 50 years.
Here is Jackie playing guitar hero with our nephew Kyle. Kyle can play on expert, I've made it to the hard level and Jackie is playing on Medium now. The game can be addicting.

UnDefeated Again!!!!

Pretty good time to be a UTE fan!!! Four years ago was so much fun. Went to all the home games but one and then went to the BCS Fiesta Bowl with friends and family. One of the best trips ever. Didn't think it could happen again so fast. Here is to getting tickets to the game this year and spending New Year's in Miami, New Orleans, or Phoenix.
GO UTES the ORIGINAL BCS BUSTERS!!!!

Family Pictures and Guitar Hero

On Saturday we went as a family to take pictures for my Mom's Christmas gift. Here is one of the pictures that was taken. Hopefully we will have the rest of the pictures soon so I can add some more. It looks like it turned out well. We went to Lagoon Trail and it was really pretty and had a lot of fun places to take pictures.
Friday night we bought Guitar Hero, but we didn't open it up that night because it is for my birthday. We just hung out the two of us and watched a movie. Saturday night came along and I said, why do I have to wait until my birthday to play the game, so I opened it up and we had a fun time playing. Holly and the kids came over that night and we had fun time playing with them.Jackie is pretty good at the game. When we play against each other and she can usually beat me.

We got so into it on Sunday that we only took breaks to cook some dinner, I thought this picture was funny.
Me Rockin' out, sadly to say I passed the game on easy on the first day and I am now working on the medium level. It is a fun game and kind of addicting.

Utes 10-0

Last night was so fun!!! What a game. Cory and I went to the Utah-TCU game last night and what a game it was. My throat still hurts from yelling. You just can't give up on this Utah team, they sure do know how to win. Here are some pictures from the game.

First team to 10 and 0. Two more games to go.

Poor freshman kicker, missed two fields goals that would have won the game for TCU.

The final drive was amazing, I had to stay up last night to calm down, I was so amped up still when I got home, that I re-watched the game on TV, but it was so much better in person.

The crowd was awesome and it was cool to see everyone in black, if you look closely, you can see me, I'm the one wearing all black.
Go UTES!!! It sure is fun to go to the games again with my brother!!!

Busy Week

It's been a busy time since we've been back. We are still trying to get adjusted to work and trying to get everything done. We have been trying to find a house, but haven't been spending too much time doing that lately. We have been to a few birthday parties and are having fun being with family. We went to Cayman's birthday party last week and she got a lot of fun gifts. Oh to be two again.

Here is Cayman with her new kitchen, apron, tea set and pretend food. Her and Cohen were so funny together playing.Cohen and I.

Cayman eating her pretend hot dog, she wasn't too happy that I was trying to hold her while she was trying to play with all her new toys.

On Thursday night, Grandma was out of town so Grandpa called me to go to a Jazz game. We ate at Crown Burger first. I missed that place and then we enjoyed the game. It was fun spending a night with Grandpa. Cory was at the game as well, but he was sitting in a fancy suite. Lucky him.
Sunday we went to our Nephew's primary program and then went for a drive. Here is the new Draper Temple. It is almost done.
Here is the house we are going to buy. I am hoping it will fit our whole family in there. Yeah right that house is huge!!! We couldn't even fit the whole house in the picture because it was so big. A house down the street was 1.2 million and was way smaller than this one. I sure don't know why you need a house that big, unless you have 50 kids.
Here is a shot of another one of the houses up by the Draper Temple. Just huge houses. It is kind of fun to look at them though. Maybe one day we will have a house that big...........

First Week Back

It has been a busy week. I started my job on Monday and there is a lot of work to be done. I was a little surprised on Monday to find out how much stuff needed to be fixed. It will be a challenge. It will be an exciting challenge and the new team will be good. Jackie will start her job on Wednesday as she took off a week to find us a house. She has done a great job and we have found one house we really like. We are nervous to make such a big commitment. We need to decide soon if we want to put an offer down on one of the houses.
We've spent most evenings with family and it has been fun to see everyone again. Yesterday I went to the University of Utah football game with Cory, Ryan, and Amber. It sure was great to be back at a game live. I sure did miss the games. It is also fun being around people that understand the rivalry.
Ryan and I. It is also great to be cheering for a team that is 8 and 0. Go UTES!!!!
Last night Jackie went to the Real Salt Lake game with Scott, Kristy, Kyle, and Tim was there also. She had a great time. The stadium looks really nice and it is just down the street from her parents house. I was lucky enough to stay home and watch football and baseball. I watched three football games and then the baseball play-off game all at the same time. It's been a long time since we have had cable in the house.
Jackie went down to a corn maze with my family this week and there was a section for the little kids to play. Jackie got right in there and played with them. Down below is my cute niece and nephew. Cayman and Cohen. Cayman loves to say Jackie's name but just won't say my name. It will be fun to be around all the nieces and nephews.
Here is to another hectic week. Hopefully it will slow down here soon and we will be able to have some time to relax.
