Valentine's Day

For Valentine's Day, my sister Holly and I decided that we would make dinner for my Mom and sister Kelly. We decorated and put a sign up for Cafe Valentino. I know what you are thinking, our decorations are awesome!  We had a delicious chicken cordon bleu casserole with rice and we even had sparkling cider. We are so fancy! It was so yummy and fun to spend the evening with family. It was lots better then trying to fight crowds at a restaurant.

Our amazing place mats. In case you couldn't tell.... they are homemade :)

All the girls received flowers

My cute Mama snuggling Baby. His cheeks looks so squishy in this picture. I love it!

Jackson is 3!

Jackson was really easy this year for his birthday. We asked him if he wanted a birthday cake and ice cream and he said no. We asked if he wanted cupcakes instead and he said yes to those. The morning of his birthday he was so excited to see all the decorations. He came into our room and said,"Mom! There are balloons out there!" It was so fun seeing him be so excited. Then he said that he just wanted pancakes and ice cream for his birthday. He makes me laugh. We asked him if he wanted to open his presents now or wait until that night for his party and of course he said now. His reactions were so cute and he was much more animated this year. If we had known how fun it was going to be to watch him this time then we would have had him wait. Oh well!

Jackson got a Lightning McQueen suitcase, new McQueen slippers, a Bullseye plush doll, and a few more cars.

He also got a Jake plate, Scully bowl and utensils! He has a Mickey one already and loves it.

We had my Mom, Holly's kids and Kelly over for pizza and then Grandma Connie, Cory and Cooper and our neighbors Bobbi, Todd and Kinzi came over for cake and ice cream.

After dinner the kids raced with Jackson. He loves to race his cousins. They got some streamers and used it as a finish line. Jackson loved it.

Jackson got a ball that lights up and a Jake puzzle from Cooper and Cayman.  He got a Cars shirt and a Buzz toy from Grandma Connie.

Jackson was being kind of shy and wanted me to help him blow out his candles.

We were trying to get a picture with Jackson and Cooper and neither of them were having it. They both started crying. So this was as good as it got! Silly boys!

Jackson had a great birthday. As you can tell, he is totally excited in the picture above! But he really did. Thank you to everyone who came and helped us celebrate and make his day special. We are so grateful that we are surrounded by family that Jackson is able to grow up with. We love all of you so much!

More Pics

Here is Great Grandma Vincent with Lee. I think this is the sweetest picture. It is so great to have a little bit of Great Grandpa here with Lee being named after him. Hopefully Lee will one day understand how amazing his Great Grandpa was and desire to be like him.

Big enough for baths now! Yeah!

Jackson watching the Super Bowl with our neighbor Luke. Jackson likes to follow him around and be just like him.

Jackson's 3 year old Pictures

When we got Lee's pictures done, we got Jackson's done as well. He did not cooperate as nicely. He wanted me to hold him and he wouldn't smile. Angalee asked if I cared if we gave him a toy to play with, so her little boy went and got his Cars cars and then Jackson was as happy as could be! Little stinker! The pictures still turned out so cute because that is totally Jackson. He plays with cars all day everyday.

Then when it was time to do pictures with the baby, he wouldn't cooperate again. He didn't want to hold Lee or sit by him or do anything with him! Nothing I did or said helped. I even bribed him saying that we could go to the store and he could pick out a new car. He thought that was a great idea, but didn't want to hold Lee to get one.

This last one, Jackson is actually sitting on my stomach. I laid on the floor behind Lee and Jackson sat on me. Since he wanted me to hold him, we were hoping this would help him. We got one good shot! The rest of the time he was laughing and moving all over. Jackson got to the point that he was done, so we stopped. They turned out pretty cute though!
