Easter and Egg Hunt

Jackson woke up and was very excited to find what the Easter Bunny had brought him. He was even more excited when he found cars in his basket. All he wants is cars!  He did love his new Cars magnet book and puzzles though. After he found the eggs that were around the house and he loved opening them up and finding chocolate!

We went to an Egg Hunt with Cory, Cayman and Cooper and the kids had so much fun. Jackson didn't like the Easter Bunny, but he never has. He didn't even want to be next to him. CJ had to pull him in to get him in the picture.

There are different age groups for the egg hunt so Cooper and Jackson were able to go first. They first get three eggs and then head back to the side. Then they are able to run and get as many as they can. Jackson is definitely not an aggressive person. In crowds he is one to sit back and just watch. He took his time getting eggs, but he sure had fun. He loved opening the eggs and eating the candy.

Baby Lee is about 4 months old now. He is growing slowly, but surely. He is getting better at holding things. He is so inconsistent with his sleeping in the night. He usually wakes up still three times to eat, but sometimes it is twice or even every two hours. I am so tired! He is still as happy as ever and I am so grateful for that. I love my family so much and am so glad I get to be Jackson and Lee's Mom. It is such a sacred opportunity. I am grateful that Heavenly Father trusts me to raise these boys in the gospel and teach them the tools they will need to live life and return to our Father in Heaven.

Sleepover Fun!

Cayman and Cooper slept over at our house a while ago and they had so much fun! Cayman was great reading them stories and a great helper at keeping things picked up. Jackson absolutely loves these two and was so excited that they were going to be sleeping at our house.

The boys were so nice to share all the balls with Lee. I am sure he really appreciated it.

Cute Little Cooper just loves Lee. He loves to hold him and asks all the time if he can watch him. He is such a fun cousin and so sweet with him.  If Lee started crying, Cooper would run over to him and play peek-a-boo until he stopped. The kids had so much fun and Cooper didn't want to leave. I love these kids just like my own! I am so glad that Jackson has them so close to play with and grow up with.

Easter Party at Grandma Connie's

Every year Grandma Connie has an Easter Hunt for the kids. We had a nice dinner and then all the kids got their bags from Grandma and headed outside to find their new toys and treats. Even Lee got some things. Connie always does such a good job of picking things out for the kids. She makes sure to get them toys or activities that are the characters the kids are into. Jackson got a Jake and the Neverland Pirate painting activity, Planes slinky, and Cars snacks. Jackson was so excited!

I love our sweet family and am so grateful for good Grandparents who love and take such good care of us and our kids.

Zoo and Aquarium

While Cohen was on Spring Break, we were able to go to the zoo and the new aquarium with them. It was so much fun to play with them! We took Cooper to the zoo with us and all the kids had so much fun. The kids were running to all the animals, we had to tell them to slow down or else we would have been done way too fast.

I said smile so of course Jackson sticks his tongue out...

At the aquarium we were able to watch them feed the penguins. That was really fun. There was a lot of fun things to look at. There were still some exhibits that were closed so we got a free pass to go back again.

There was this really cool tunnel that we walked through that had sharks, sting rays and lots of other fish to see. That was probably the coolest thing to see at the aquarium.  Jackson liked the animals, but I think he had more fun running up and down the ramps. He is so funny. Always on the go!

After the aquarium, we called Aunt Kelly to see if she could go to lunch. After lunch, we went and walked around the mall for a while and Kelly took Jackson on the train. He loved it even though you can't tell from the picture.
