August Misc. Fun!

Jackson loves to help me cook now and I love it! I want him to learn to enjoy cooking so he will like it when he gets older. Usually after helping me make breakfast, he wants to lay on the counter while I cook it. He is so funny. I remember being on the counter helping my Mom and it makes me smile to watch him.

For Cooper's birthday, Cooper wanted to have a chalk fight. So we went to the park with CJ's family and they threw powdered chalk at each other. I didn't participate, I was the camera person. Jackson didn't like it at all. He cried basically the whole time and trying to get him to stick his head in the shower at the park was even worse. He hates showers, but all the kids were going to play at the splash pad after and they all had to wash off. It was pretty funny trying to get him in the shower. CJ basically got in with him so we could rinse him!

My Mom, Kelly, Camille and I went to St. George for a couple days and stayed with my sister Jodi. We went to see the play Starlight Express at Tuacahn one night and just played the other days with Jodi. Their house had a pool that Jackson loved and he loved playing with his cousins. They played tag and would hold him and chase everyone. He thought it was great fun.

We stopped at the Red Barn in Santaquin on the way home. Jackson wouldn't look at me while I was taking his picture! Little stinker!

I was sitting on the couch putting on my mascara and when I was done I told Jackson I was going to do my hair. He said to leave my mascara and eye lash curler on the couch. I didn't think twice about it and laid it on the couch and went to my room. CJ came in holding a crying little boy who had tried to make himself look pretty like Mommy. I couldn't get a better picture then this. It was pretty funny, but when he saw himself in the mirror he started freaking out and wanted it off. He doesn't like to get dirty so he was not happy until it was all off.

We went to the Johnson Mill with my Mom and sister Holly to make taquitos for Labor Day Weekend. Jackson fell asleep on the way and then we walked around for a little bit. He loved watching the water wheel.

Lunch with the fun Rasband family! Jackson just loves them and will often ask to go to Holly's house and play with his cousins. It is so cute!

First Utah Game of 2013

CJ wanted to get Jackson a Utah jersey to wear so we had searched a couple different stores until CJ found one that he liked best. Jackson was very excited to have a shirt like Dad, it had a "U" on it.  He wouldn't hold still long enough for me to get a decent picture of him with his new shirt. CJ told Jackson that Cooper had a Utah shirt too. Jackson started asking to go to Cooper's house so he could show him his new shirt. So we headed over to Cory and July's for a little bit. Cooper went and put on his Utah shirt, then we had two very excited boys! They were wrestling and going crazy!

We spent the day at my Mom's house since CJ was going straight to the game after work. We went to Scheel's and they changed the height requirement on the ferris wheel so we decided to go! Jackson was very nervous for almost the entire ride. I had wrapped my arms around him and if I moved my left arm to take a picture, he would quickly grab it and tell me, "No Mom. Hold me like this." and place my arm tightly around him again. It was really cute. He made this silly face the entire time we were on it.

On our last time going around, he finally said,"Wee!"

We had pizza for dinner at my Mom's and we got Jackson one of the mini kid pizzas that they can make at home. Jackson thought this was so fun and ate almost the entire thing.

Despite his face, he was not yelling. Just talking rather loudly saying no. I don't remember what for though! It was a fun day. I am glad CJ was able to enjoy the game and we were able to enjoy time with Grandma and Aunt Kelly.

A New Addition!

We took these pictures back in May and just haven't posted them yet. We did a little photo shoot with Jackson. I am not the best photographer by any means, he is rather shadowy. We were able to fulfill our purpose though with these shots. Enjoy!

Baby Brother is due January 1, 2014!

We had to get an ice cream afterwards to reward our little guy for being such a good sport while we took pics. That made him very happy!

Boondocks!

We went to Boondocks with our neighbors Bobbi, Todd and Kinzi. We went to go miniature golfing and after only doing two holes, it started down pouring. They were huge drops too so there was no way we could finish. We got our refund put on a card so we did the arcade games instead.

Jackson loved throwing the balls on the skiball game. He never made it all the way, but this way he could throw them over and over again!

The rain finally stopped and the sun came out so we decided to use some of the money to use the bumper boats. Todd and I took the kids on it. Jackson whined the whole time, he didn't like it. There are little guns you can squirt water out of and I was really good at getting Todd wet. I would go near his boat just so I could squirt him and he was getting so mad and would try to steer his boat away. I was laughing so hard, it was quite fun!

It was a fun time, but we will have to go back when the weather will be a little better! We have great neighbors and friends. I am so glad that we live where we do!
