U of U Fan Fest

Saturday was the U of U Fan Fest and we decided to go with Cory and the kids. I had never been before and it was actually kind of fun, other then the heat. We got there right after it started and the coolest thing about it was they let you walk on the field. There were tents set up with different sports teams where there are a couple team members of that sport there to sign something or take pictures with them. We didn't do that stuff, but the kids sure had fun running around the field. Since running is one of Jackson's favorite things, he was in heaven.  Cory had brought a little football so the kids had fun throwing it and pretending to score. 

I love that big grin on his face while he is running.

You could line up to try and kick a field goal, I think from ten yards away. CJ kicked it and scored! He was pretty excited. Jackson wouldn't try kicking it though. I was hoping he would.

Jackson did not like seeing Swoop at all. He cried the second CJ walked up to him and then was fine as soon as CJ stepped away from him.  He liked him from a distance though. Swoop had hung Cooper upside down and Jackson couldn't stop talking about that and saying Swoop was funny because he did that.
Afterwords, we went to City Creek with Cory and the kids and ate lunch. It was a fun day and Jackson had so much fun with his cousins. He sure loves Cayman and Cooper and I am glad they live close enough that he can see them often.
