Wyatt's Birthday at the Zoo and Our 7th Anniversary!

Tim's family goes to the zoo every year for Wyatt's birthday. We were able to meet them there for a while Saturday morning. Jackson had so much fun of course. He was especially excited that his Daddy was able to come this time. He had been asking,"Dad go to zoo me?" So cute! I just love him. He was very excited to show CJ the animals. He loves running around there too. There is a walk way by the elephants that he just loves to run on. He could do that all day and not see any animals and be just fine. This time he kept asking to see the bears though.

This polar bear is made out of Lego's. It was huge!

When the sea lion would swim by, Jackson would ask to touch him and get so sad when he would swim away. I tried to explain that he couldn't touch him, but he just kept asking!
The Grizzly Bears were all over this day. They were awesome to watch. They were eating and then would walk to the window and sit for a while and then walk on top of their hut. Jackson loved watching them and was very excited to see them.

Jackson will not ride the carousel unless someone is sitting with him. He gets nervous for some reason, but the whole time he was riding it, he was saying, "Wee!"
After the zoo we headed to my Mom's house. She kept Jackson for us overnight so that we could spend the night in Park City for our Anniversary. Jackson had so much fun at Grandma's playing with Wyatt, Beckett and Emmett. They played on the trampoline and got soaked from the sprinkler. They played on the swing set and just had fun running around. It was fun for Jackson to see the Johnson Boys. It had been quite a while and he loves them.
We headed to Park City and did some shopping at the Outlets. CJ was able to find some nice things from the Nike store that he was excited about. We didn't get too much, the stores there are still expensive. I can find cheaper clothes at the regular stores instead of their outlet stores. After shopping, we headed to Baja Cantina for dinner. It is a Mexican restaurant that we had heard was good so we decided to try it. Our food was huge and it was pretty good.

CJ had found a deal for the Waldorf Astoria Hotel so we decided to spend the night there. It was really nice. We had a valet, which we have never had before. We were unsure of what you were supposed to tip. Hopefully we weren't too cheap! We had a fireplace in our room. I loved that. I really wish we had one in our house.  The pool area was really nice with a couple fire places through out that you could sit by.

One of CJ's favorite things. TV in the bathroom...

Every night at seven they turn on this fire pit and you can roast marshmallows. It was really fun. We got our s'more kit and enjoyed our yummy treat. We just sat and relaxed there for quite a while. Another couple came to roast mallows too. They made us laugh pretty hard. They were from Ohio, a small town of 3,000. The wife was Polish with Egyptian in her. The guy had made s'mores only one time before. They were so funny to watch trying to figure out how to do it. They tried putting their s'more together first and then were going to roast it. We told them to roast the mallows first and then make it. While the wife was roasting, the guy kept asking us if she was doing it right. I told them there really isn't a wrong way to roast a marshmallow, it just depends on how cooked you want it. They thoroughly enjoyed their creation though!

We had a nice relaxing evening just hanging out and watching a movie on t.v. We ate at the restaurant there for breakfast. It seemed too fancy for us, sitting on sofas across from each other. The food was great though.

After eating we packed up our stuff and headed home. It was really nice to get away for a night. I have been so blessed to spend these last seven years with CJ. He has been so good to me and has been a great Dad to Jackson. I love our family and that we can be together forever.
