2 Months

Our Little Jackson is now two months old! I can't believe how fast time is going by. I enjoy Jackson more and more each day. He is changing so much. He goes to bed between 10:00 and 10:30 pm and only wakes up one time to eat in the night. Usually around 3 or 4 and then sleeps until 7.

Jackson has started "talking." It is so fun to hear him make the cutest noises. I will talk to him and it is like he is answering me. I wish I knew what he was saying. He probably thinks I am just crazy when I talk to him. Some of the noises he makes really does sound like cooing. When I have read that babies coo, I thought that they don't really do that. But it is the cutest sound. He makes this screeching noise that sounds like it comes from his throat. I don't know how to describe it, but it makes me laugh every time he does it.

He smiles a ton now too. He recognizes my voice and will smile when I talk to him. He does it with C.J. as well. It is so cute! He has two dimples that you can see only when he smiles or is crying. I love them!

When Jackson was born he looked like he had gray eyes. Now they look blue. My sister Kelly keeps saying that Jackson is going to have blue eyes. C.J. has brown and I have brownish green eyes. I guess we have to keep waiting to see what they really end up being.

Jackson loves his bath time. He is always so content just sitting in the tub, he stares at himself in the mirror. The only bad thing is, he gets really upset when we have to dress him. He usually whimpers and then it turns into a full fledged scream. It makes me so sad.

He has had the baby acne and cradle cap pretty bad all over his head and it is finally clearing up! I am so excited. I know it never bothered Jackson, but it bothered me and I felt so bad for him. Of course he has been cute through it all, but I am glad that it is clearing up.

Jackson used to get the hiccups ALL the time. At first he would get them after almost every feeding and we couldn't lay him down while he had them because he would spit up. Now he gets them maybe every other day. I am so glad he doesn't get them as often. He is just so little and his whole body convulses when he gets them.

We went to the doctor on the April 7th, here are his new stats:

Weight: 12 lbs. 3.6 oz.
Height: 22 3/4 inches
Head: 15.35 inches

Within seconds he went from this:
to this...
and back to this. It was the funniest thing. Oh I just love him!

He always smells so good after he has a bath! He is getting chubby!

I have been trying to get a really good picture of Jackson smiling so I can show off his cute dimples, but every time I take a picture I miss it. Here are some of my attempts.
