Shelves

We have a small storage room in our house and have talked about adding shelves for the last ten months, but have just never got around to doing it. So everything was just stacked in there. We finally got around to it this weekend and it looks a lot better. Here is the before picture.
Terry was nice enough to come up and help us. I'm not the best at this kind of stuff, but it's great that he will take the time and help me with these kind of projects.

And here is the after picture. It actually didn't take that long to build. It gives us a lot more storage space.

After finishing the shelves we went to Camille's ballet recital. They performed Swan Lake and they did a really good job. It's always fun to watch the little kids dance that have no idea what's going on and they just twirl and run around. Camille did an awesome job, we are so proud of her.

nice work on the shelves, and way to encourage the kids.

Your first home improvement. This is a momentous experience. Good Job!! Nice to have a handy, willing father-in-law to help out. It was good to have everyone for dinner Sunday. Luv ya.

Wow, it looks so much better! I remember first seeing that tiny little closet, and wondering how much stuff could fit in there. With the shelves in, it actually looks bigger, and that it can store a whole lot more. Good job putting them up! Now I just have to get Jackie into couponing so you can stock up those shelves! :)

You know, shelves are something we take for granted. And then we get them and it's like BAM! SHELVES! THE GREATEST INVENTION OF ALL TIME!

Love the home improvements.

AND can you believe Ryan's little bro is coming up here? So freakin' awesome!
