Family Vacation

So this week has been fun for Jackie. On Tuesday night I dropped her off at the airport so she could fly home to spend some extra time with her family. So since Tuesday she has been hanging out with the Rasband Fam and of course her parents. On Thursday my baby sister Candice had a healthy baby boy. Jackie was able to spend some time at the hospital with them. On Friday she was able to see all of her friends and have a bridal shower for Natalie H. She had a lot of fun there and then afterwards she had a slumber party up at Tim, Ashli, and baby Wyatt's house. It was so fun to see baby Wyatt. He is so darn cute! Saturday we were able to hang out with the Nielsen family and hang out with Ryan and Amber. So it has been a busy week and upcoming busy week with a Johnson Family Reunion and lots of other fun activities. So I will post some pictures from this week.

LongBoarding

So this has been our new fun thing we have been doing here. We are slowly becoming Californians. We bought longboards and Jackie really likes them. She has been the first one to take a hard crash, but she was ok and just had a few scratches. Tyler and I have been going up in the hills of Ventura. It is a lot of fun.

Disneyland

So I did something no one would believe if they know Jackie very well. I went to Disneyland without her. (It was a work thing for just the Office Managers around the company to get to know each other) Well if you can't tell I am the one with the red hat on going down Splash Mountain. I don't like to admit to Jackie, but I actually had fun, but wish she could have been there. I would post more pics, but I actually didn't take any other pictures.

First Posting

So I thought I would try this whole blogging thing or web page thing so everyone can see what we are up to these days. Jackie and I just celebrated our first anniversary. We can't believe we have been married a year already. We went and saw the play Wicked. We would highly recommend it to everyone. The end of June makes it one year that we have been in the lovely sunny California. I think we have picked a great spot to live. You can't ask for any better weather and we are having a lot of fun here, and it almost seems like we are on one long vacation, except for the whole work thing during the week. Work is going great for Jackie and I and it is always so much fun working somewhat together. We at least are able to go to lunch everyday together. We had a fun Memorial day weekend with Cory, July, and Cayman here. We were so happy they came to visit. We did tons of shopping, went to the Zoo, Dodgers-Cubs game, went to different piers and of course the beach. We had a lot of fun playing beach volleyball. Everyone loves Cayman and she was so much fun. Well that was probably enough for the first post. We miss everyone!!!
