Picture Catch Up

Jackson loves our neighbors tramp. He thinks he is so big to run all over and tackle Dad on it. He gets really excited when CJ gets on it with him.  I tried to get some really good pictures of Jackson's face when CJ would throw him up on in the air. It sort of worked.

Jackson was hiking up his shorts and running around. It was the funniest thing. Before he moved anywhere, he would grab them.

Below is my handsome boy just hanging out at City Creek.

Great Grandpa Lee wanted to take Jackson to see the ducks at their house so he plopped him on his walker and off they went. Jackson was expressionless for the first 10 minutes and then he got a little more excited and thought it was cool. Cute Grandpa, we love him!

Below is Jackson helping me pull weeds in the flower beds. He really just moved dirt out of the garden, but it was so fun to watch him think he was big. He loves to help me in the garden. Whenever he sees me doing something in there then he comes right over and starts to dig.

Connie went to Hawaii on a cruise with her parents and siblings and brought home "old man" shirts for Cooper and Jackson. I say old man shirts because they look like the same shirts that CJ's Grandpa wears. They both look very cute in them though and Grandpa was very proud to see his boys look just like him.

CJ, Jackson, and I and our neighbor Bobbi and her little girl Kinzi went to the zoo to hang out for a little bit. It was a lot of fun to just walk around and do whatever we wanted. CJ was no fun though, he was done after about 15 minutes. I told him he is never invited to the zoo again, he is too much of a party pooper.

The Buzz and more

Jackson's hair was getting really long in the back again and hanging a little over his ears so we decided he needed another haircut. We went to my sister Holly's house so she could trim it up.  CJ decided to buzz the back and Holly could trim the top. Well CJ just kept going with the buzzer and decided to buzz Jackson's whole head!  I was so upset. His cute long blond hair was gone and there was only stubble left. He looked about 3 years old instead of my little baby. It will be nice for Summer to have it short, but we will never be cutting it that short again. I just won't do it.

Jackson was so tired and upset that I couldn't hold him because I was cooking dinner that he came and laid down next to the oven with his car and blanket to be next to me. Oh I just love him!

Our little neighbor girl was outside enjoying the warm Spring air when she decided to pull our pretty tulips. She pulled them all from both trees and then when our neighbor Bobbi saw her and told her to stop, she says, "But I picked them for you." So sweet, she knew she was in trouble so she replanted them back in our garden. What a good little girl. CJ came home from work and said that Chloe had picked all our tulips. We went outside to check it out and then Chloe and her Mom came by so Chloe could apologize. She was so scared! I felt so bad for her. I told her it was okay and even got a smile out of her before she left.  I really didn't care, I just felt bad that she was so scared to come talk to me. It made for a good laugh though. Everyone thought it was a great story.

Zoo and Dinosaur Park

Jackson and I went to the zoo with my Cousin Becky and her two boys Wyatt and Colton. It was a lot of fun and Jackson gets more and more excited the older he gets to see the animals. He loves watching the monkeys jump around and they had the cutest baby monkey that was climbing all over his mom.
The really big gorilla was inside and Becky and I were watching him and he charged the window and banged on it. Becky and I both jumped about a foot in the air and just about peed our pants. Then we started wondering how strong the glass really was and if the gorilla hit the glass more if it would break. It was really scary. I felt bad for the gorilla, he seemed very sad.

Jackson has loved the carousel in the past, but this time he wasn't loving it. He was okay while we weren't moving and then as soon as his animal started going up and down, he got whiny and scared. He  wrapped his arms around my neck and wanted to get off, but I just held him tightly and talked to him while it was going. He didn't let go of my neck until it was time to get off. I felt so bad for him. I was a total wimp when I was little, but I could handle a carousel. I am a little worried that he isn't going to like any rides. We will work on this.

July invited us to go to the Dinosaur Park in Ogden with her and the kids. I had never been there before and didn't know what to expect. I knew it was outside and Jackson would be happy to do anything outdoors. It was really fun. There is a small building that had dinosaur statues, fossils, and other cool things to look at. The coolest part was where they had a big fence and dinosaurs behind it that moved. It was like they were real and they would make noise and Jackson thought it was the coolest thing. He growled over and over which means he was VERY excited! When it was time to go outside, he wouldn't let go of the fence. I had to pry his fingers off to get him to leave. It was the funniest thing.
Outside there were statues all over the place. None of them moved which was a bummer for Jackson. There was a playground that we played on for a little bit and then we left and got lunch. It was a good day spent with cousins.
