Long time....

It has been a long time since I have posted, but it's hard when we do not have the internet at home. We've spent most of the month waiting for the rain to stop so we could have our yard put in. We had a little pond in our front yard that took forever to dry out and postponed our yard from getting done for over two weeks. We had the sprinklers put in and we laid the sod. Thanks to Cory for having it more than half way done by the time I got home and we had it all done before Jackie even got home from work.

It is so nice to have our yard in, it really feels like our home is complete. Hopefully we will be able to put in some flowers and edge the flower beds with rock or brick in the next couple of weeks.
We had two of our nephews spend the night on Friday and had a blast with them. We played some guitar hero, went to dinner, played some Wii fit and then the boys watched four movies. I only made it to one in the morning awake, but they pulled an all nighter. I would post pictures of us playing the wii fit but I think Kyle and Payden would be too embarrassed of how funny they looked playing it. We had some good laughs.

Saturday we went out to West Fest with my family. My Mom was in charge of the Vendor Booth's out there and did a great job. She was even interviewed by Big Buda from Fox 13 news in the morning. We went on rides together and had a lot of fun. I got sick on one of the spinning rides. I've never had a ride make me sick until the one out there.
Mom put together her own booth and sold some burp clothes, towels, magnet boards and hats for kids to design.
On the spinning Apple/Berry ride. Cayman and Cohen sure had fun once it got spinning. I set Cohen on the middle thing where you spin the ride and he laughed and laughed. It was funny.
They went on lots of rides and did not even get tired from them, they would get off and say again again.

Hopefully I will get better at updating the blog. We have the Johnson Family Reunion this week and then we are heading up to Star Valley for the weekend for another Reunion. Should be a fun busy week.

How could I forget.......

our friends Spenny and Nellie??????? Spenny, Nellie, and Logan stopped by during their trip from California to see us. We were so excited they came by to see us and hang out for a little bit, we know how hectic these trips back to Utah are and how many family and friends are wanting to see them.
We were their next door neighbors in California for a while and are the ones that talked them into moving to California and then we ditched them, when we moved Logan was 9 months old so now he is almost 18 months and we didn't think he would remember us, but we must have left an amazing impression because when he saw us he had the biggest grin on his face and went straight to Jackie and me. It was so fun!!!

Poor kid is living without his favorite babysitters, so thanks to Spenny and Nellie for stopping by to see us on their busy busy trip. We miss you guys!!!! And like we said before there is an empty lot next to us still!!!!!!

Last Few Weeks

We don't have the internet at home so it has been hard to update anything. We also haven't been taking much pictures and since everyone only looks at blogs for the pictures I haven't posted anything.

We had a picnic with the Nielsen's the other week up in Farmington. Their twins are so big. We also had them over this week and it was fun to play with the twins and hang out.

We went to Rubey Tuesday's for my Mom's birthday and had a nice dinner with her, Candice, and Cohen. Cohen made me laugh all night.

We had a big family bbq at my Grandparents over Memorial Day Weekend, this is the only picture I took. My Grandparents now have over 20 great grandkids and these parties are now way different than a few years ago now that we have little kids running around again.

This past Saturday I ran in a 5 K for the Ensign Foundation. We were raising money for an Employee Emergency Fund and then also for a Charity that our company donates to at the end of the year. I think it ended up being more of a 3 k instead of a 5 k but hey my t shirt says 5 k and that is all that matters.
Let's play find C.J. in the picture above.

I ended up finishing 4th out of the group Men 17-30, but I would have finished 4th in the group over 50 as well. We probably had over 100 runners and I probably finished 15th or so overall. It was fun. This weekend we also had a Neighborhood BBQ for those in our Circle and it was a lot of fun to get to know everyone. Saturday night we had a BBQ with Jackie's friends at her friend Debbie's house. It was fun to see everyone. It's nice to get to know Jackie's friends from her younger days. The house is still great, we are really enjoying being in our own place. It is basically furnished now and we have everything decorated, so if you are up our way in North Salt Lake, feel free to stop by and say hi. We always have ice cream.
