Week of Fun

This week we had Spencer and Criscell in town for a week of fun. As soon as they got here I made Spencer go play basketball with me. Then we hit up the beach and had to take them to In N Out.
We ended up going to Santa Barbara and rented this four person bike thing. It was a lot of fun.

The Paskett's brought with them the Nintendo Wii, which you can see from below Jackie was an amazing boxer. We spent a lot of time playing that this weekend.

On Saturday we went to Universal Studios and that was fun. The back lot studio tour was really interesting. For example the houses they use for Desperate Housewives are the same houses they used in Leave it to Beaver and The Munsters. The Jurassic Park ride was sweet and got us way wet. We had a great week and were so glad that Spencer and Criscell came. So anyone else that wants to visit, we are a lot of fun!!!!

Hello Everyone!! This is the first time that I have put pictures on the blog, usually CJ does it. How exciting! This weekend we went to the famous Rodeo Drive. I only know what Rodeo drive is because of Mighty Ducks when they go shopping there and they have to ring the doorbells to get in. I thought dang! Where is that place? And now I live here. Crazy how that works. It was fun to walk around and see all these fancy stores that we will never be able to buy anything from. There was Valentino, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Tiffanys, and so many more! It was actually pretty there too. There was lots of flowers and one part there was a stone walk way. I must say I quite enjoyed myself. It is probably a good thing to go to fancy stores like that because then I know for sure I won't buy anything. And there was all these fancy cars that people were driving. We came to the conclusion that people rent the cars and then drive them down Rodeo Drive to look cool. That has to be it, right? Well, as we were walking around I saw a big sign that said Beverly Hills and of course we had to get our picture taken by it. Then after we went to the temple because we wanted to watch the Joseph Smith film, but the visitors center is under construction so we weren't able to see it. We just walked around and took pictures. It was so pretty with the sun setting. I miss you all and hope you are all doing well.

So we went to this place called Solvang. It is a little Denmark town. Some people from Denmark settled this town a long time ago and patterned it after where they came from. Everything looks like it is from Denmark, even the newer houses are patterned after that way. It was a lot of fun. Tons of gift shops and ton of bakerys/restaurants. The sad thing is, we didn't even eat at a Scandanavian restuarant but a Mexican restaurant while we there. I am glad we found this little town. It was a lot of fun. We have this Southern California book that we had been using to find cool pl

aces but hadn't used it for a while, but finally got it back out. I am sure glad we did as it was a lot of fun. Here are some pics of it.

Family Pictures

Here is our family pictures. It was a lot of fun to have everyone together last week. Pretty crazy in the difference in the size of both families. We just want to say we love everyone and we are so grateful to be apart of both families. Can't wait to add to the families!!!
